The Executive Director and Head of School

Lois Payne, the Executive Director and Head of School, has been in the field of education for 36 years. She has spent the last 20 years in school administration specializing in preschool and elementary. Since she began at The Glen 8 years ago, Mrs. Payne has fostered immense growth in our school and has made The Glen what it is today.

Faculty

The Glen prides itself on having an extremely educated faculty who remain at the school for their entire career. All head teachers and most assistant teachers have a bachelor’s degree and some possess master’s degrees. The Glen is proud of its very low faculty turn over.

Faculty Degrees

On average, each classroom has 2 Montessori certified teachers. This certification is in addition to their bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Teachers at The Glen Montessori School are committed and available to parents at the school as well as through phone conversations, notes and e-mail.
