Giving to The Glen

The Glen Montessori School’s annual fundraising provides critical operating support for the school. As at most private schools, our tuition revenue does not cover the entire cost of operating the school. The Glen relies on grants, auxiliary programs, the support of our community, and fundraising to bridge the gap. Annual fundraising is vital for maintaining the excellence of The Glen Montessori School.

This important support comes from the tax-deductible donations of Parents, Grandparents, Faculty and Staff, Parents of Alumni, Alumni, and Friends of the School. Every gift makes a difference, both by providing a financial benefit to the school and by inspiring others to participate in support of our mission. Importantly, demonstrating high participation by our donor base is effective in leveraging support from foundations and corporations.

Label Programs

 

Box Tops for Education

Turn your groceries into easy cash for your school and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of General Mills products. Clip the Box Top Label and bring it to the school office. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents.

Campbell’s Labels for Education

Save labels, UPC codes, and caps from participating Campbell’s products and bring them into the school office. The school will redeem the points toward merchandise for the school.

Carnegie Museums

The Glen partners with the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh’s “Carnegie Cash for Schools Program”. The school will receive a contribution each time you or a family member purchases or renews a Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh membership and identifies The Glen as a registered Carnegie Cash participant at the point of sale.

The Glen Gala

The Glen Gala is both a social event and fundraising activity coordinated annually by Glen parents, teachers, and staff. Past Galas have included formal adult receptions, family receptions, live auctions, silent auctions, and other fundraising activities. Funds raised by this event are applied toward the successful operation of the school, student scholarships and capital improvements.
